The power went out at 104

Last night our home was one of 72 homes in our area

WITHOUT POWER, WITHOUT AIR CONDITIONING, WITHOUT FANS,

and in our case,

with a freezer full of fresh picked blueberries and newly purchased ice cream screaming…. We’re thawing.

Yikes.

And on an evening where the record temp went up to 104!!! It was not our most fun night. We could literally see PGE working on the power just down the street

and

my neighbor had power the entire time and she’s out of town.

Did Karma get me?

A little after 7 this morning, the power came back on. Today the best sound in the world is the sound of the air conditioning unit starting up.
