Scrapping Oregon

Scrapping Oregon Last month MyMemories opened a special Exclusive Shop within the store where a small select group of designers will be providing quality designs. The June kits have gone live in the MyMemories.com exclusive shop and OREGON is my contribution. I've worked very hard creating a very large kit (would you expect differently?) that covers so much of what Oregon offers... everything from the quirkiness of Portland and its surrounds including some iconic signs and the famous Portland airport carpet, to my version of icons for the major universities, to all the major mountains, to some lighthouses, the famous Haystack Rock at the beach, and some Portland bridges, the Columbia Gorge's famous Multnomah Falls, some craft beer, heck - even a food truck because Portland is all about food trucks. I even have my own version of Voodoo Doughnuts in there! Oh... and a whole bunch of big evergreen trees - because it's Oregon! Oh... lest I forget, SHAKESPEARE! Ashland, Oregon is known for its Shakespeare festival and I have you covered on that topic too!!! So far I've scrapped some of the quirkiness of Portland and the airport, a little of the great Northwest, and even my husband unicycling in the great outdoors. I feel an Oregon Ducks layouts coming next since my daughter is now at the University of Oregon. Living in Oregon, I have lots of photos to scrap with my own kit. LOL. I even lent some to a few creative team members who wanted photos more specific to the kit. Once you've scrapped your Pacific Northwest photos with this expansive kit, you will also begin to see how easy it will be to mix elements from Oregon with other kits I've created since I've been using similar styles on my elements for a while now. Personally, I love picking and chosing elements from a variety of kits to create layouts. One of my layouts is about a school field trip onto Mt. Hood to check out the final part of the Oregon Trail back when my daughter was in 4th grade. Go chaperone those field trips as you then get to take photos!!!
